Police Unions Call for Boycott of Quinten Tarantino

Despite the fact that New York Police were mourning the loss of one of their officers this week, Tarantino headlined a protest in NYC where he insinuated police were murderers.

When confronted about holding the protest during the same week NYC was mourning one of their own, Tarantino called the timing “unfortunate.” According to Tarantino, too many people had traveled to attend the rally and there simply was no opportunity to cancel it. Moreover, Tarantino declined to tone down the rhetoric of his protest in light of the officers passing. He went on to say, “I have to call a murder a murder, and I have to call the murderers the murderers.”

Police unions across the country are none too happy about the timing and they have called for a boycott of all things Tarantino. That’s no Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained, or Reservoir Dogs for the police. The boys in blue are hoping the nation will jump on board and send a message to Tarantino about his “unfortunate” timing.
