Step 1: Figure yourself out

It can be true that some women are out of your league, but have you ever wondered what is it that makes you think you are inferior to them? Were you bullied in high school? Did your first crush reject you? Don't laugh - sometimes it's petty events you've almost forgotten that truly affect you.

Once you find out what the source of your insecurity is, it's going to be a lot easier for you to be confident and simply approach the women that catch your attention and charm them with your cool attitude.

Act like a confident man

If you still can't genuinely rock the self-confidence game, don't worry and take things slowly. Start by making the first move, even if you don't feel like it, set yourself some special dating goals and then try to meet them, one at a time. You know what they say - fake it till you make it. And most importantly, don't be afraid of being rejected. After all, 'no' is just a word - don't let it crush you.

Aiming high? Then be more positive

We know you may have grown sick and tired of dating that goes nowhere, but you have to realize that your negativity can fuel your romantic failures too, so quit complaining about how women don't like because you're too short/ too skinny/ too fat/ a ginger/ not muscular enough. If you look closely, you'll notice that not all the "good ones" are taken and that some of the women around you may actually be interested in you.

But if you keep feeding yourself these myths, you're most likely going to stay single for a long time. So if a negative thought like this ever pops up in your head again, get rid of it right away by thinking of examples that disprove it. Fill your mind with positive stuff and you're bound to notice a change for the better in your life.

Friends before dates

According to a study conducted by a team of researchers from the University of Texas at Austin, the so-called friend zone can actually improve your chances of getting the girl you want, however glamorous and out of your league she may be. Apparently, if a woman is much more attractive than a man, she's unlikely to start dating him from the very beginning.

However, the man in discussion would have a much better chance at making her fall for him if he went about things in a different manner. In other words, he should try to be friends with her. Not only is a platonic relationship with a woman going to be a lot of fun, but you're also going to give her the chance to know you at your best. Needless to say, this will improve your chance at making her your girlfriend later on.

Keep in mind, though, that if 15 months have passed and there's still no chemistry between the two of you, things are unlikely to change. That's why you shouldn't hold your breath for just one woman at the same time - befriend more of them and don't always expect something in reward for that. This way, your success rate with women is going to be a lot higher.
