Charlie Sheen Revealed a Terrible Thing about His Health

“I’m here to admit that I am in fact HIV positive,” the actor said.

He continued describing how it all started and what symptoms gave the warning signals:

“It started with… this series of cluster headaches and insane migraines and sweating the bed, completely drenched, two, three nights in a row that I was emergency hospitalized,” he said. “I thought I had a brain tumor. I thought it was over.”

Sheen’s doctor said that the virus is in an incipient state and the actor is on medication, so for now he is healthy and keeping the virus under control. The concerns of Sheen’s doctor are around his depression and substance abuse in correlation with the virus.

Sheen declared that he hasn’t done any drugs, he still drinks, but he never misses taking his medication. He also stated that he doesn’t know how he contracted the virus, but since then he’s “always led with condoms and honesty.”

The 50-year-old actor said that all his sex partners were informed about the virus and he only had unprotected sex with two partners who were aware of his condition.

“I have a responsibility now to better myself and help a lot of other people,” Sheen said.
