But how do Australians feel about all this?

Did you know, for instance, that around 15% of Perth's population consists of British citizens? Obviously, these people were born in the UK, so you can imagine that they'd like to have a say in the future of their home country. As a result, a lot of posters in support of either side have popped up around "highly British" - if we can call them that - cities.

However, some people find Australia's eligibility to vote quite weird. David Squires, cartoonist for The Guardian, is a true icon in the UK, but he's lived Down Under for quite a few years now. "I really shouldn't have a vote. I'm an ex-pat who has migrated - almost the opposite as to what the vote is about," he says, adding that "It's great for comedy though."
