However, on the sweet Sunday morning of June 12, things did get worse. A lot worse than anyone would've been able to predict.

It is with great sadness that I'm bringing myself to write about Omar Mateen, the man who opened fire inside the Pulse nightclub at 2 A.M., when everyone was still enjoying Latino night. The man who killed 49 people and got 53 others badly wounded. The man who dared call 911 only moments before he started shooting his assault rifle, only to remind them about the Boston Marathon bombing and to boast about how grand ISIS was.

It wasn't long before Mateen died too, at the hands of the S.W.A.T. But ever since the attack, a lot more has surfaced about him, and it appears that he wasn't the usual kind of hater.
